How To

Aug 28, 2012 5:58 AM

Hi guys, I have all the required files for my contact form which is css, I need to know where to put those files within my existing website for the contact form to work. I have DW CS6 and completely new to it, any help on this would be great.

Thank you

Lee

A contact form can't be a .css file. You can style a contact form on an .html or .php page (for example) with css though.

What kind of form processing script do you have?

Let's start by seeing the code you have for your form - copy and paste into a reply please.

Also, in the future please try to use a more specific subject line - your subject line here could conceivably apply to every post in the forum!

This is not a form file.  It's a PHP file that can be used to process your form submissions.  Generally, to use something like this you would start with an HTML (or PHP) page that contains a form.  The form page would submit its data to a page like you have shown for processing.

Before you do anything else, though, you will need to define a site in DW. Have you been through the F1 Help on how to define a local site?
