Best way to use pathfinder?

Hello all, I am a fairly new to use the pathfinder tool and I know how powerful it is but when i use it i get weird results. What would be the best way just to delete these points?

    Um…Maybe if you explain or show what you did to get what you got, and how that's different from what you want, maybe we could help.

    Have you tried using the Trim function from the Pathfinder panel/menu? I tried replicating your screenshot and got the results below:

    You can also use the Divide function from the Pathfinder panel/menu to get the same results. Both of these actions will slice up your objects wherever they overlap, but you can fuse the shapes together again using the Merge function from the Pathfinder panel/menu.

    Thank you so much that is exacly what I im trying to do. The first thing I tried just sliced everything and I seen little white lines.
