CS6 crashing

I'm trying to export a CS6 file to idml and each time it crashes InDesign. I need to send this file to my printer, who has CS5.5. I've tried to save as with the same result. Help!

    DO NOT send an IDML file to a printer!

     

     

     

    Export a PDF using the Press setting and send that.

    And we need a lot more information to diagnose a crash, starting with the OS.
