Object Layer Options Question

I just  upgraded to CS6 from CS5. (I'm using Windows 7)

I place a 2 layer (Illustrator Created) PDF into Indesign and make only Layer 1 visible in Object Layer Options (show layers). I do this in CS5 and the pdf stays exactly where I put it.

In CS6 the image moves. I need it to stay put because I use Layer 2 for placement.

How do I make the pdf stay exactly where I put it after I make a layer not visible?

Nothing has changed in this regard between CS5 and CS6.

What options are you choosing when placing the PDF?

Sounds like you've chosen a crop option, like bounding box or art, that might vary with what's visible.
