How do I attach files to a PDF that others can open?

    What kind of files? What do you mean by attaching them?

    I have a document that is a PDF to send and need to attach an appendix, as an icon that can be opened by the reader, within the PDF.  I'm not sure if I need a certain version of Adobe to do this or if it's just me not being able to figure it out    Thanks for any tips!

    You can do nothing of the sort with just the free Reader. You may be able to do it with Acrobat.

    Thanks.  I have Reader X.  I'll check with others in our department to see if anyone has Acrobat.
