Unable to convert html tabular data into a pdf doc

Sep 4, 2012 4:31 AM

I am trying to convert a html page into a pdf doc using acrobat x pro. The html page contains a tabular data. Table contains many rows and has a vertical scroll bar to see those rows data. On exporting the html page to pdf, all the tabular rows are not being exported. The pdf depicts only the first few rows from the table, which are visible in the html page, without scrolling.

Please note that by vertical scroll bar, I do not mean the scroll bar of the html page. I mean the scroll bar contained in the page and used to veiw all the tabular rows.

Regards,

Rajnish

    I don't think Acrobat supports that HTML feature. Indeed, I don't think it can support such a feature, since you cannot have scrollable parts of a PDF page.

    Sounds like a valuable suggestion for future releases.

    Do you have a URL that folks can try? It may be the way in which you are doing the conversion. You keep saying export, so from what browser. The specific OS may be useful, not sure. Just how are you making the PDF. If you are printing to the Adobe PDF printer or using PDF Maker is it likely you only get what is viewed. I suspect the MS plugin if used does no better. Just what do you mean by export and what broswer again?

    Hi,

    Please create the following Registry entry :

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\Hotfix]

    "i2947812"=dword:00000001

    this will fix your problem.(make sure to restart Acrobat after setting the registry).

    Thanks.
