Some of the pages I open up in Dreamweaver have a section of code with a blue highlight around it by default when initially opening them. Does anyone know how to disable this? I can provide an image if anyone that reads this is unsure of what I'm referring to.
That appears to be just a normal selection of code using the mouse.
I get that here too. Clicking anywhere else on screen unselects the selection and removes the blue highlighting.
Are you running DW CS6 12.0.1?
Nancy, it's just the PMA (phpMyAdmin) index.php file. I was just being curious and checking it out.
Thanks, John. I'm just being OCD. I just wish it didn't do that by default, and wish I even knew why it did in the first place. I reckon it's not a big deal.
Probably won't make any difference, but have you tried upgrading to 12.0.1 Build 5842?
Sorry about the delay, my ISP had a few outages in my area. I haven't tried that, but it's okay. I'll live with it the way it is. Not really to big a deal. Like you said, it'll go away when I click somewhere else in the code. Thanks for your help and suggestions!

Have you tried to save the file again after you have clicked on the white space? Sometimes the settings is saved in the cache and you will continue to see this every time you load this page unless you re-save it when you have cleared the wonderful blue color from it!!!
