Hey guys,
I ran into a very strange problem.
When I enable the "Maximum Bit Depth" checkbox in the sequence settings or in the export settings some highlights of the video get replaced by strange colors. In the timeline during playback everything seems fine but when you stop the playback you get the strange colors. All exports have the weird colors.
System: Win7 64bit
Premiere 6.0.2 (problem also occured in 6.0.1)
Video Source: MOV DnxHD 185x 422 10bit
Problem occurs:
- in timeline when playback is stopped
- all exported videos have the strange colors
Problem doesn't occur:
- in timeline during playback
- when you export a still frame with "Export Frame"
Any ideas?

had the same problem - currently it's working right...
Had problems with exported DNXHD MOV's
Interesting - video was fine but all RGB inserts had the problems - I think it has to do with bitdeep/GPU rendering...
Adding a "legal colors filter" to the RBG inserts solved the problem.
--> A FinalCut editor told me today he also had such problmes with DNXHD MOV's on MAC

Yeah, had that issue with strange color artifacts flickering on a shot. Didn't show in the timeline and after about 12 hours of tests and re-exports, I finally unchecked Max Bit Depth and all was good. For me it was a green artifact flicker that happened in the middle of a transition (a basic cross dissolve with one of the videos blurring out (gaussian blur). It wasn't even in the highlights really, it was on a girl's face/chest that was properly exposed. Guess I'll just avoid checking that box going forward.
