Illustrator CS6 has stopped working on Exit....

Everytime I go to close Illustrator down, no matter the method. I get a message that Illustrator has stopped working and has to be forcefully closed.  This happens any time I close Illustrator.  I even uninstalled the entire CS6 package, cleared the registry settings, and erased all the files, and did a complete reinstall of Illustrator CS6 only, and I still get the same error. No plug-ins running or anything...   Help...

Running Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, AMD Athlon FX 8 Core, 3.96ghz.  16GB DDR3 1600 ram, 6 1TB drives, 3 virtual drive ( each drive is mirrored).  Everything else runs rock solid without any issues at all. Just Illustrator acts oddly on shutdown.

    YOu may have a permissions problem with your illustrator prefs file which is updated at .ai shutdown. Check you premissions.

    I've been having the same issue, and I keep hoping since I'm using the Cloud they'll fix it.

    Note:

    1. Everything has been unisnstalled and reinstalled 3 times.
    2. All permissions have always looked okay.
    3. Illustrator has been the only program to have this issue.

    I also have the same issue with Adobe Illustrator CS6. I am running Windows 7 64 bit with 16 Gig of RAM.

    I am also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program without any change in the error message.

    Illustrator is the only application in the Creative Cloud that is malfunctioning like this.

    @ADOBE -   PLEASE FIX

    Agree on this only Illustrator and always on shutdown, none of the other CS programmes do this and I use most of them!

    Have gone round and round with the permissions etc. and find no problem.

    ADOBE if this was a permissions issue then would likely fail in other CS programmes... It is an Illustrator issue, please put an update on the Cloud!

    I also get "Illustrator Has Stopped Working" everytime I not only close but when I open a file or try to add any 3D effects. I am running Windows 8. None of the other Creative Cloud products are acting this way. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
