I've installed the new version of CreateJS with Adobe Flash Pro CS6 and when I export I get this error:
"An unexpected error occurred during export. [JSX]
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:"
Please help!
Thanks.

hi Josh - with the file you provided I am not getting the same error. Instead I am getting a series of DUPSYM errors. I did some testing, and this is related to special characters < and > in some symbol names. We will absolutely be fixing this in the next version.
If you (or anyone) has an FLA that generates the other error:
"An unexpected error occurred during export. [JSX]
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:"
Please send me the FLA or attach it to this thread. It is usually caused by abnormalities in the FLA, and we are hoping to isolate these to avoid this error in future versions.
Thanks!
Thank you Google!
Getting this with all of my .FLAs, even the simple 441kB preloader FLA I made for all my Flash Projects. Says this in addition to the error:
Unable to save the document as "C:\Users\<Username Removed>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS6\en_US\Configuration\CreateJS\.TMP.fla".
Thought it might be an issue because I didn't install the Adobe Cloud stuff on the C drive (it's an SSD, I don't need to wear it out). So ran it 'As Admin' and still getting the error
The preloader was done in CS5 (yes I even tried it after CS6 converted it).
Odd that Adobe would set it up as read-only.
But meh, stuff doesn't work:
WARNINGS:
Feature not supported: Embedded fonts.
Text support is limited. It is generally recommended to include text as HTML elements (see DOMElement). (3)
Shadow and glow filters are very expensive effects. (5)
Input and static text fields are published as dynamic text fields. (3)
Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1. For example, this affects gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay calls.
Feature not supported: Compiled clips. (2)
Oh well, guess I'll have to learn the HTML5 ![]()
Unless, I want to make sites that give seizers
It appears this CreateJS needs to be done with CS6's method of making a FLA. I made most of my stuff in CS5's Flash, and when you save it CS6 will say it needs to convert to the new format, and that files will no longer be readable in earlier versions.
After that (save, exit, re-open), CreateJS seems to work.
-Can't say how it'll do with non-Adobe Flash Makers.
I get error with Flash Pro CS6 trial & CreateJS 1.0.2

You can download my FLA file
- Saved my file as Flash CS6 uncompressed file (*.xlf) using Save As.. command from the menu. Then ran CreateJS again and at least got error messages this time - they are listed below. This one is causing substantial grief - Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1. For example, this affects gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay calls. (12)
Tried Save As back to Flash format but still get the same errors.

Hi!
I have created about 30 flash pieces over the past 7 years. They have all been built using AS2 and are all very similar in function. Most of them have been saved as Flash Version CS4 because that's what I've been using over the years. I now need to convert them to run on mobile devices. I downloaded the trial version of Flash CS6 and CreateJS to see if I would have any luck with getting them to publish and work on an iPad. I have saved the file as a CS6 Flash file and have run the publish function from the CreateJS panel. I continually get this:
An unexpected error occurred during export. [JSX]
The following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
Any help would be much appreciated! I don't see a way to post the actual file to this forum, so please let me know how I can get it to you if you need to take a look at it.
Thanks!
