How to input wholesale attributes

Hello,

I've activated my website for wholesalers and am able to change the main price to wholesale. However, in my attributes the buyer can select larger sizes. Those attribute prices are more for retail than they are for wholesale. How can I change the attributes for wholesale prices? I think it's a shame if there is no way to change this. If not, is there a way to list a product that only wholesalers can see? That way the wholesalers can purchase those listings that are not visible to retailers. I'm not sure how to get around this. BC should really have the option to change attributes to wholesale prices. Thanks.

Hi Danielle,

There's indeed no way to do that with attributes. There is however a way to display catalogues to people who are logged in, which will be wholesalers. Under catalogues you have a dropdown which you need to set to "Existing Customers". All products in this catalogues will only be accessible to wholesalers.

Kind regards,

Hi Mario,

Could you confirm - it's possible to have for example a Wholesale Catalogue and a separate Retail Catalogue within our website.

Wholesale buyers would need to login and have access to the wholesale catalog which has multiple drop down boxes to order sizes, colours, wholesale prices etc [this we already have in place for wholesalers on our site Siam Intercontinental Handicrafts | Home] At the moment wholesalers send there orders through, we calculate shipping etc and send them a quotation/invoice.

Retail buyers would only see the retail store and be able to buy standard in stock items - only choice in the one drop box being their size. They drop it in the cart and pay for it right away including shipping.

Right now we are in the process of scaling back product ranges to just one product range only and would like to be able to sell wholesale and retail without any hiccups.

Any input/suggestions from anyone would be highly appreciated !   Cheers, Barry.

This really should be addressed.  We are running into this issue with a large E-Commerce build and apparently the only solution is to have a separate product for each size.  Has this been fixed?  It has been 3 years since this was first posted.
