Adobe Reader XI, IE9(32bit), Windows7(System Type: 32bit), pdf file is shown abnoramlly in browser

When we open the pdf file directly in browser page on our site, it's shown like thisadobe.JPG, the content area is limited on top of the web page. But if we enable the compatibility view of this site, everything becomes normal. 

 

Any resolution to make it work without enabling the compatibility view? Thanks

    Try repairing the installation of Reader.

    Thanks, but the problem is not resolved... I tried repairing the installation of Reader by Open the Adobe Reader X1 -> Helper -> Repaire Adobe Reader Installation

    Post the link you are viewing.  Also try setting up IE in Compatibility Mode.  That is a weird view.

    Sorry, the URL we are using is for our application, which is not public.  We finally found out the reason is that, when opening the pdf file in the IE browser, the "div" value in the jsp file becomes null, instead of 100%, that's why the pdf file is not open in 100% mode.

     

    We fixed it by specify the value "100%" to div in our jsp explicitly, and then the pdf can be viewed correctly.

     

    Therefore, it should not be a PDF problem...

    Right, the pdf can be viewed normally if we enable the compatibility Mode of IE
