My audio is unavailable and displays salmon red, was working last time I had the project open

Some history: my workflow was the following, captured media using premiere pro cs6 from HDV tape, ingested media into prelude cs6, logged subclips, created roughcut, sent roughcut sequence to premiere pro cs6, performed further editing (further dicing the clips and rearranging - no effects yet).  Closed the ppro project, prelude failed to close properly, reopened ppro and all audio tracks are salmon red and unavailable for playback.  The video is fine???
