I am amending a completed Adobe X Pro form with additonal text to clarify user direction. It is very easy to do this with a text box verses editing the text of the form. However, the text box is now included in the "tab order" for the form fields. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

You can flatten the text box so it becomes part of the regular page contents and therefore cannot receive the focus wth this free JavaScript-based tool: http://www.uvsar.com/projects/acrobat/flattener/

With this tool you can choose which types of annotations you want to flatten.

Starting with Acrobat/Reader 11, comments/markups that have been set to read-only (e.g., via JavaScript) do not participate in the tab order.
