Could not connect to JRun Server.

I run XP and have just installed CF8. CF8 runs, but when I want to process a page, I get the message:
Could not connect to JRun Server.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

    We'll need some additional info to find out what is going on. Check your ColdFusion and JRun logs.

    I'm going to assume you are running in "Server Configuration Mode", which is option 1 during installation.
    The JRun logs can be found in c:\coldfusion8\runtime\logs
    The ColdFusion logs can be found in c:\coldfusion8\logs

    Have a look through those and see if there's anything screaming out. If you're not sure, post the logs and someone can have a look.

    Here two logs...I didn't know which ones to attach to fix this problem.

    I had a similar issue and I checked whether the CF8 services were running. It was not. I started it up and vola the error was gone.
