I have a re occurring crash trigger. Quite often when I do a CtrlD (to get Document Properties) it crashes the program. Is this a known glitch?
Thanks for responding, this is what the operator has sent back,
Acrobat 9.5.2 (PC Version)
50% of documents have this problem
I usually save files to, and work from a desktop folder: C:\temp\PDF Folder\job folder, but also sometimes from the server.
I should point out that this seems to be happening to just one operator who is part of a much larger team!
I must have missed your replies to this thread. I'm terribly sorry.
Has your operator updated to 9.5.3? If you can open the properties of these files without issue on another computer, I'd suggest running a repair of Acrobat on the user's machine via Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
Thanks David, I noticed the update this morning and have asked the operator to try it.
It does seem to be just the one machine so I will check that the repair was done with our IT on Monday.
Thanks for you help.
Just wanted to let you know that our IT tried to do the 'repair Acrobat installation' as discussed. Once finished the following message appeared when trying to launch Acrobat.
All of adobe programs (Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS4 and Acrobat 9) ceased to work and have to be reinstalled!
IT are not happy!
