Reader XI - How to hide the enormous buttons 'Tools Sign Comment' on the toolbar?

Nov 13, 2012 3:39 AM

I don't have room for other, more useful buttons.

You can't. Those 'buttons' are the collapsed Panes and they're a fixed part of the user interface ever since version X.

From View | Show/Hide | Toolbar Items, you can remove or add toolbar items.

I just wanted to reply to you that this is strange, that I do not have that button, but when trying to take a screenshot I noticed that I actually also have it.  Never noticed it before...

There are also ways to add/remove toolbar buttons and menu items using JavaScript, but I do not know if these particular buttons can also be removed.  They may be fixed to promote the Acrobat.com online services.
