Stray Text

Hi - The line should be at the top of the page but appears in the middle. Haven't found a way to get it back up. Indesign 5.

    Looks like it could be some sort of anchored object (show text threads to see where the anchor might be), or possibly a free-floating frame lower in the stack...

    OK, I think maybe I'm understanding what's going on. Looks like heaing paragraph and it's behind the footnotes. You can try holding doen the Ctrl key (windows) or Cmd key (mac) and click several times to work down through the stack until that frame is selected. In CS5 if should stay selected when you then try to move it. If that doesn't work, you can try moving the footnotes out of the way temporarily.

    You might also be able to identify and select the corect frame from layers panel if you expand the layer.
