CS6 upgrade Got installed it Got error message,  HELP

I installed the CS6 upgrade, it verified  my serial numbers and gave me this when I tried to use it.

 

"Photoshop detected a graphic hardware that is not officialy suported.  If you experience problems, please uncheck the use graphics processor checkbox in the performance panel of the preferences dialog."

 

My problem is that I can't find the peferences dialog to start.

    Edit --> Preferences --> Performance. OpenGL options are in the bottom right corner.
