How to enable ProPhoto RGB in PS CS6

Hi,

 

I have the following problem, I would liek to select in Photoshop, edit, color setting ProPho RGB as working space but for some reason it is not there, meaning I cannot select it.

 

Would be very if someone knows this problem and could help me with this.

 

Do I have to enable or install this somehow?

    Since this doesn't seem to be common problem, shoudl I maybe try to reinstall PS?

     

    I would really appreciate any help for solving this.

    one can search google for PROPHOTORGB. download and install.

    Uh, did you look under the RGB Working Space dropdown menu in the Color Settings dlog? Should be just above sRGB...

    Hi Jeff,

     

    yes I know it should be there but it isn't.

     

    Is there an official site where I can download color spaces etc.

     

    This is really strange, it must be a bug or something.

    The file normally is here on a Windows 7 system:

     

    C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color>dir ProPhoto.icm


    Volume in drive C is C - NoelC4 SSD
    Volume Serial Number is 00ED-C11E

     

    Directory of C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

     

    08/11/2008  11:39 PM               940 ProPhoto.icm
                   1 File(s)            940 bytes
                   0 Dir(s)  1,042,270,855,168 bytes free
