Using scissors tool on every anchor with ease?

Hello,

 

I wonder if there's an easy way to have the result just as if I used scissors tool on every anchor of a path. Clicking on every anchor is a tiresome labor.

    Anchors can easily be multi-selected and split by using rthe relevant option in the tool settings bar at the top.

    I'm sorry but I don't follow you. Can you elaborate on the relevant option in the tool settings bar at the top?

    1. Select the path(s).

    2. Select>Object>Direction Handles.

    3. Edit>Cut.

    4. Delete.

    5. Edit>Paste In Front.

     

    Also, look at the Control panel. There is a scissor button there which (decades late) can finally cut multiple selected anchors in one move.
