scanner issues for mac

two questions for Mac and elements 11.

 

How can I scan directly into elements 11? Are scanners supported for mac?

 

What version of bridge can I use with elements 11 and how do I download it?

    You can't download bridge. It only comes as part of the creative suite programs. If you have an older version of PSE that included bridge, you can still use bridge, but you won't be able to update the raw converter to show thumbnails/do conversions for  newer camera models.

     

    To scan in PSE, you must install the TWAIN plugin. Go to Applications>Adobe Photoshop Elements 11>Support Files>Optional Plug-ins and move the ImportModules folder into Applications>Adobe Photoshop Elements 11>Support Files>Plug-ins.
