Audio Export Problem

I have a series of MPG that I import into Premeiere.  When I set them up in the timeline the audio channel is 4.  The video is HD and has 6 channels.  I am having trouble getting out of Premiere with good sound quality.  I have tried sending it to Encore and I get NO audio.  I have saved it as a AVI but I loose sound quality.  How do I get this video out of Premiere and into Encore with good audio?  Thanks
