junction 21 Calculating status...

iam using pem pro 5.5 to edit hdv when i click insert only the video is inserted i can drag the clip to the time line and thats ok if i use clip from my old dv cam there is no problem

iam using a panasonic hdc-hs900 camcorder

iknow i must be doing somthing wrong but i cant see what

also i am not sure which preset to use i have tried all but none work

Drag your clip into the "new item" icon and a sequence with the proper setings will automatically be created.

thanks for the info it works but it has raised two more questions
1 how do i find out what the corect setting is
2 why is there a yellow bar underneath the work area bar
