Add an image to perspective grid

Nov 23, 2012 5:04 AM

hello guys, ive an image of a picture and i want to add this picture in the perspective grid in illustrator

how can i add this picture?

another question

if you write a square with the rectangle tool in illustrator and you select a face in the left up corner, is there a way to make the square how can i explain...

you move the swuare on theat face with the mouse and when it reach the "border" it will start move on the other face,

just like a wall, if you put a piece of pare in a corner, the paper will assume the shape of the corner

is possible to do this instead of create 2 square and merge them in the corner?

thank you

Placed image do not work interactively with the perspective grid, but there is another way

    1. embed image
    2. draw a rectangle to final size/position you want the image to be
    3. Select both rectangle and embedded image
    4. Object >> envelope distort >> make with top object

    For your second question

    1. Draw your square while perspective grid is on
    2. Switch to the perspective selection tool
    3. Now when you move your sqaure it will conform to the perspective
