Image problem - can't add text before an image, only after

I've imported an image into my document, and I want to add text before the image. When I reach the end of the text line, the next line of text begins below the image. I want it to continue before the image an push the image down as I add more content. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Sounds like wraparound properties - check that out in the help

    Wraparound lets me add text beside and around the image, but not above.

    isn't there a "none" setting?

    Nope

    There's Run Around Contour, Run Around Bounding Box, Don't Run Around, and As Is, none of which let me add text before the image.

    Select the frame. Look at Special > Anchored Frame > Anchoring Position

    Typically, it needs to be Below Current Line, or

    Run into Paragraph, Alignment [ Right ]

     

    The text you type for "Below..." need to be before the frame anchor symbol, otherwise it will flow below the frame. You'll need to have

    View [*] Text Symbols

    on to see the anchor.
