Is there price protection for recent purchases?

I recently purchased Lightroom 4 and Elements 11 and now I see them drastically discounted. 40% is a huge discount on a new release and I certainly could have waited a couple of weeks to benefit from this sale. Come on Adobe, honour your loyal customers with a refund or credit for a future purchase. I know that these aren't your core products and are geared to the consumer but now your offering full versions for the up-date price.
