I am about to teach Photomerge Exposure to Elements Students and I have discovered a "bug" in this part of version 11. After completing the photomerge controls, when I click "Done" and return to the Editor, I can't view the merged image. It is in the Photo Bin but can't be directly selected. When I double/click on the merged image, I end up with one of the original files. After trial and error, I discovered that I can double/clcik on one of the original images in the photo bin and this will get me to the merged image.
I can coplete this example in version 10 without a problem!
I am using Elements 11 on my MacBook running OS 10.6.8
Thanks, that helps. Is there some reason why the photo bin doesn't work as usual? Also, why wouldn't the merged photo be active after I click "Done"? Since I use the "Floating Option" in Preferences, the merged photo is buried behind the floating images.
One other observation, In the Photomerge Exposure window the shadows slider says "Darken Shadows". In effect it "Lightens Shadows". Wouldn't it have made more sense to label it "Lighten Shadows"?
