Hi,
as there is star-indicated if a file has been saved yet after editing
I wonder if there is an indicator as well for if the file is in sync with the server. The page is often too heavy to run a sync command (takes lot of time), and it would be more intuitive and fats if I could see in the tabs if the files are synced to the server after editing. So I know which of the opened files I need to sync, without running a time consuming sync for the whole site.
Regards,
Frank
No there isn't. It would be useful, but I find that Dreamweaver's ability to keep accurate records of what's in sync very unreliable, particularly when the clocks change twice a year.
You can check individual files using the File Compare feature (see http://help.adobe.com/en_US/dreamweaver/cs/using/WSc78c5058ca073340dcd a9110b1f693f21-7edda.html). It involves installing a third-party file comparison utility, such as WinMerge or TextWrangler (a free Mac text editor with a file comparison utility built in). Also, it's limited to one file at a time, but you might find it useful.
