I am thinking of buying a 27" 2560 x 1440 monitor for indesign and photoshop work.

It seems to me that the Dell UltraSharp U2713HM is currently best buy.

Will you be able to work with the interface at that high a resolution? Remember that Adobe doesn't let you customize and make the menus and dialog text larger.

What was the resolution? My 27 " Dell is 1920 x 1200, and most ot the 27" monitors I've seen over the last year or two were 1920 x 1080, I think. Going to 2560 will reduce the size of icons and the menu type to 2/3 of what it is at 1920.

I'm not saying you will have a problem, just that you should be aware of the possibility and that you check ist out before spending the money. You may still be young with great eysesight.
