Folders and sub-folders

I had created folders and sub-folders in Elements 5, mainly decade and year folders and sub-folders. These are not showing in Elements 11. Do I have to manually recreate all these or is there another way around?

    Well are you try to import the photos or have already imported in a catalog? Are you using Folder view to see the folder?

    All the photos are showing in Media view and I have imported the Catalog. So all the folders are showing in the left panel as a long list, whereas previously they were grouped in sub-folders.

    Do you see a two folder icon beside My folders.

    Click on any folder you want to view and select that icon. it will open that folder in folder heirarchy view.

    Fantastic. I didn't see what you meant at first, but when I did as you said, hey presto, as if by magic, all the folders appeared.
