Moving an 8-bit Picture to Flash

I'm currently working on a project where I have 8-bit characters running around. I have a problem with transferring the 8-bit character to Flash without it having a white background and without it being blurry. I attached the png file with the Sprites that I'm using. Thanks for the help.

What version of Flash? CS5.5 imported your PNG with transparency just fine.

If it's a much older version consider GIF with transparency (still 8bit) or just use a 24bit PNG.

Just a note, I didn't copy/paste it from photoshop or anything like that. I saved the file, then file->imported it so there's no possible complications.

    Yep

Make sure in the Bitmap properties you don't have smoothing checked off and it's lossless PNG.
