I'm attempting to set up a testing server on my PC but when I load php pages I am consistently getting an error message, "Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because of an internal server error".
PHP 5.13.18 runs and tests okay, WordPress runs locally and the testing site config looks good. The server URL and path correspond, the connection is by network and the Server Model is set to mySQL PHP. I can see the testing site files from inside DW and invoking Live View has written file copies to the testing site.
I can't generate a preview or Live Preview. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with PHP sorry. I'm running the software that came packaged with BitNami WordPress Stack - phptest.php tells me Server API is Apache 2.0 Handler, PHP API 20090626. I just installed it out of the box and use default settings.
Where can I look to better answer your question and determine which processes are running please?
I have tried turning off Skype but to no avail.
Thanks for your help.
Ian
I use WAMP server.
If you have Skype installed, it's possible there is a port conflict with your local testing server. Try these steps.
Skype reserves port 80 for its incoming connection which conflicts with WAMP, so simply configure Skype to use another port by doing the following:
In Skype go to Tools | Options | Advanced | Connection uncheck the option --> Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections, that's it.
For this change to take effect restart Skype and Restart all services on WAMP by doing the following:
Left-click WAMP tray icon > Restart All Services"

OK, good.
Quite honestly, I know nothing about BitNami or what it installs by default. I'm guessing it gives you an open source server similar to WAMP, XAMPP or MAMP (they're all pretty much the same).
