While trying to open Edge Inspector on Windows 7 (64bit), I get following error:
Error -102 when loading url https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/shadowlogin.html
I tried opening that on a browser as well, and get a spinning wheel ...
We're not sure at this point. We think it may have something to do with the back end sign in system we're using, but are investigating. Thanks for lettting us know, we'll respond here when we know more.
No news yet. At this point it only seems to be affecting you... we haven't heard any other reports of it and can't reproduce the issue ourselves.
Can you try going to https://creative.adobe.com/ and logging in there directly from your browser and see if that works? Let us know if you see any unexpected messages when you do that.
Are you a new Edge Inspect user and this has been happening for you since you installed or had you been using Edge Inspect successfully up until this started happening? If you had used it before, can you think of anything that's changed since then, either with your account status or with your Edge Inspect installation?
I can login just fine on the creative.adobe.com.
I am a new user, so I don't think it is anything related to changes here. I will try on a Mac and see what happens.
Have you tested the application on x64 Windows 7?
I also tried https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/shadowlogin.html from my iPhone and I get the same spinning thing... not sure if there was anything else that was supposed to happen there. I the app itself it is just that 102 error.
We've definitely tested on Win 7 x64.
To be clear, you've never been able to use Edge Inspect successfully?
Yes, if you go directly to that URL, the endless spinner is expected. It's the 102 error that's troubling, not the spinner.
Yeah, that what I am thinking too... I started thinking it could be some of the McAfee Host Intrusion Protections stuff, but seems it is all allowed.
Workstation is behind a firewall and a proxy doing NTLM authentication against AD ... I wonder if Edge Inspect is not picking up the proxy settings?
thanks for the help so far
That's very possible, I'm not sure we've ever testing with a proxy setup. I'll pass this along and see what we can find out. Are you good to go with the workaround of using your other computer you installed on, or is this blocking you?
I'm actually getting the following error:
Error -130 when loading url https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/shadowlogin.html
that one I never got... sometimes I get error 111 as well, but it was only like 2 times.. I keep trying different options and settings on my environment. Only one I could make it work was to bring in my personal laptop and run things outside the company lan in a isolated WiFi that does not require use of proxy
