Is it possible to search source code located in remote server files?

The search functionality is very robust for local files, however, is there a way to search remote files?

I am not interested in "search and replace" functionality, just searching source code in files on the remote server.

You can do it from your browser by browsing to the file, choosing View Source and then doing a Find.

I don't think DW has anything like that though.

What are you attempting to do specifically?

Searching the source won't help because I do not know which file contains the text I am looking for.
The issue is that I believe there was a change made to a file on the remote server that does not exist on my local copy of the site.

Specifically, I received a broken link error from one of our analytics tool that does not exist within the local site so I was hoping to find it in the remote site.

The search function in DW only works on Local Files. You would need to GET all files from your server first then perform a search on your entire local site.

Or use a different tool:
