Re-Imported .swf is replacing other .swf’s it shouldn’t be replacing!

Nov 27, 2012 11:47 AM

I have imported an .swf into my Library and then animated it. I then changed the animation of the .swf and reimported it to the Library. It asked me if I wanted to replace it. I said “Yes”. Then when i play my animation it replaces other imported .swf’s also with this new .swf eve though they have different names. What is going on?

you shouldn't be importing a swf into your library.  if you want to add a movieclip from one swf to another, you can drag and drop from one library to the other.

if you need to display a swf in another swf, you should be "loading" that swf into your main swf.
