I can not find any query builder on Dreamweaver. It seems that DreamWeaver does not connect to database server which does not have any query builder on DreamWeaver.
Please let me know if I am wrong,
Your information and help is great appreciated,
Regards,
Iccsi,
If you have setup your site properly, then in DW you will find the query builder by pressing the + on the Bindings tab.
I cannot vouch for the above statement if you are using the cloud version.
To setup the site, have a look here http://www.kingluddite.com/tools/crud-in-dreamweaver
The following list shows the topics contained within the page.
- Here’s a video on installing XAMPP
- Create a database, a table inside that database, and data inside that table.
- Define a site in Dreamweaver
- Tell Dreamweaver about your database.
- Show data from your database table
- Insert data
- Delete data
- Edit data
- Login Capability
- Restrict access to any page
- Spry validation
- Backup your database!
- Add ST2 to your workflow
- Add images to your database
- Add recordset paging to your web pages.
You are most likely looking for item number 4 in the list.
However, I suggest you go through all of the items (with the exception of item number 13, in case Mr Adobe complains) in the list, so that you can learn the basic procedure regarding interaction with the (MySQL) database
I still can not see the vidoe.
Do you have Flash Player?
