Cannot connect to sub-directory

Nov 29, 2012 2:55 PM

Using Dreamweaver CS5.5.

I have my own website in which there is a development folder. I would like to FTP directly up to development sites by creating a new site within DW for each of these subdirectories. However I am not able to connect to these sub-directories. Each time I edit the site (from within site definitions) to go to the root folder it connects successfully. But with each of the subdirectories I get an FTP error that the folder might not exist. I have verified that each of these folders have in fact been uploaded to the server correctly. This is happening for about 3 site definitions, all within my development folder.

Ideas?? Thanks!

The way I go about doing this is to replicate the structure on the remote, on my own system.

For example, this is the structure of the site

    MYSITE

         CSS

         JS

         IMG

         index.html

         TEST

              CSS

              JS

              IMG

              index.html

In DW, define each site (MYSITE and TEST) as per normal by using the correct paths. In other words, you will have two defined sites within DW
