I am trying to edit an animation I applied to text in premiere elements because I want to make it slower. Is there a way to do this?
If Peru Bob's suggestion does not get you what you need, regarding the Duration of the Titles w/ the animation Presets applied, then there is another method, with much more control, but it does require a bit of "hand-work." You can just Keyframe the Fixed Effect>Motion>Position (removing the animation Presets first), to do the animation over time.
I more often use this method, due to the greater control, rather than any of the animation Presets, such as Crawl, or Roll. When doing that Keyframing, one can determine exactly the speed of the animation, and can also do things, such as "pause" the animation.
Good luck,
Hunt
