CS6 AI keeps shutting down

For the last week, Adobe Illustrator has been shuttng down every time I try to use it.  It will let me open and file and work in the window, but when I go to save the file, it says that is is not responding ,  and that it has stopped working.  It then shuts down. 

 

It is not a security issue.  I check and there is full control permission.  I am not on  a different machine or anything else.  I have been a member of the Cloud for about two and one-half months.
