InDesing cs5.5 hangs shortly after opening ever since updating to Mac osx Mountain Lion.
I have creative suite 5.5 and all other app are working except indesign.
I can provide the error report if it helps.

I suspect this might be SING, but please see Adobe Forums: InDesign CS5.5 Not Responding for instructions on generating a hang report, then forcing a crash to find out (hopefully) where the problem is.
Oh sorry, I have just had the hard drive replaced with snow leopard installed, and upgraded to mountain before installing any other programs, does that count as a clean install or would I literally need to have no OS before installing mountain lion?

The page you refered me to seems to have fixed the problem by moving the [Startup Disk]/Library/Applications Support/Adobe/SING/Mark II/Datastore to the desktop.
