ACR 7 problems

When working in ACR 7   everything is gone black apart from the image area.Screen shot 2012-12-06 at 2.18.41 PM.png

    MacOS?  Did you run MacKeeper or similar utility to "clean up" the OS?   If so, you'll need to reinstall the OS or do an OS repair installation to get back the files you're missing.

    Hello Chris,

    I did run MacKeeper  however no files are missing.

    How do I do a OS repair?

    Just this weird black around the ACR 7.

    On my MacBook Pro it works fine.

    The black dialog means that you are missing part of your OS.

    MacKeeper was the mistake.

     

    Now you need to repair your OS.

    Thanks for that Chris.

    Should I stop using MacKeeper in the future or be more carefull.

    Also could you please tell me how I repair the OS.

    Do I use  disc utility from the start up disc?

    Any help would be grat,
