HD Camcorder and Laptop Computer

I am considering buying a Sony HD Camcorder(Model: HDR-CX260V. I am also looking for a laptop computer that can handle the HD format. Is there a laptop that can handle HD? If so, what configuration will I need? I will be making HD videos for my family.

Lots of laptops handle HD. I have a two year old Macbook pro on which I use the multicam feature (two Panasonic SD900 plus two TM300 all recording best AVCHD) and it works just fine. Take a look at the hardware specs required for CS6 or whichever version you have and proceed accordingly. For peace of mind, having decided which you're going for you could check back here with the details.
