Why does adobe always crash when trying to watch youtube and similar? I now have windows 8 and use modzilla as browser.

Update your graphics driver and check the Flash Player hardware acceleration options. Turn off GPU usage, if it doesn't work at all. Right-click on any flash content and choose "Settings".
