some Question for CS6 users.

Dec 7, 2012 5:48 AM

I have used Premiere for a very long time and there is some things I do not like.

1) When I start DV tape rewinding from Capture Windows and switch to another application, the rewinding proccess stops. Does the Premiere Pro CS6 do the same thing?

2) Is it possible to edit without peak file creation in CS6?

You can turn that off in the Preferences/Audio. When this preference is disabled (By default, this preference is enabled and matches the behavior of Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.0).), importing audio or opening projects will not cause peak files to be generated.

If peak files were already generated, then waveforms will be visible. Files imported before the preference was disabled will continue to generate peak files.
