Running Script: Main: preferences file is invalid undefined

Dec 8, 2012 6:53 AM

I migrated from Snow Leopard to Lion and when I went to run a script I got the following messages:

Cannont find a file name MSPp&s-FormatFrames.txt (Clicked OK, then)

Main: preferences file is invalid undefined

I tried to delete and reinstall the script and have gotten the same messages.

Any ideas why?

Thanks,

Peter

I'm running CS6 with the latest upgrade to 8.0.1

OS X 10.8.2 with 16 GB Memory

That seems like a big clue...

Also, if you migrated ID rather than reinstalling from scratch that may be the problem, too. If so, uninstall and reinstall.

Sounds more like a script related problem than an ID one… Sounds like the script itself may be looking to parse a text file for settings/info… OP speak to the script author…

My guess exactly. Maybe it's looking for a MicroSoft Publisher file?
