I get confused that when I use my PR CS5 to render an 1920X1080 mp4 format file，the cpu usage was only 36% at most ，PR CS5 64 bit ,can't be........., So I think it could be up to 90% or almost 100%，becourse when I render a 720 X 576 mpeg format file it alwayz can be 100%，Do I set something wrong in PR CS5 or just my computer can‘t afford the HD film rendering？Here are some pics of computer and my problem screen shot.
Could anyone help me to fix it .....!!?
The CPU will use whatever it can in terms of load, unless it is waiting for other components to finish their part of the processing first. It is like walking along the beach with your dog. The dog has to wait for you. Now imagine your grandparents accompany you. Now you have to wait for your grandparents. Same with your computer, the CPU is waiting for other components.
I am very grateful for your help..and I do understand your theory, but how coule i improve my HD video rendering speed in this situation.I try another squence containing high-resolution source video,At this time,I just rendered it without adding any effects .the sequence was 45m long, but during the rendering, the cpu is 100%usage.and it only cost 30m to finishing rendering. So it means the other compoents of my computer can't work on the HD video rendering at a high speed ? and if the answer was "yes" ,which compoent of my computer should be changed? I didn't set something wrong in my Pr CS6?
