spry menu questions

Dec 8, 2012 5:35 PM

Hey, I've set up a horizontal Spry Menu Bar for my site, and have been running into problem after problem, but I have managed to work them all out. Until now.

On half of the pages for my site, the drop down sumbmenu covers the content of the page (which is what I want), while on the other half of the pages, the submenu is covered by the content of the page (which I don't want). I went back into the code for each page to make sure I wasn't missing any links needed by the spry, but everything is the exact same, all across the board. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who might have an idea of where I might have went wrong.

Also, I'm using rollover images for my menu (both the main bar and the submenus), but there's a gap between each submenu bullet for the list, and I can't find a way to close the gap. I tried to add an background image for the entire menu, but it's not working so far. the closest I got to what I wanted was having it show up in one small section of the menu.

If anyone can help me out, it'd be much appreciated. THanks in advance.

Your image links are incorrect for the menu.

    Change this

    ../ryanolsenstudios/gallerytab.jpg

    to:

    gallerytab.jpg

    for Gallery menu image.

Same thing for all mouseover images. They're located wrongly - hence not loading:

    ../ryanolsenstudios/gallerytabroll.jpg

All such images are currently located here:

    gallerytabroll.jpg

I'd recommend you put them all in a folder called 'images' and link to the image within that folder. This way, your main folder will only have .html files. Images folder will have .jpg and other image files.
