WEIRD: Shape and selector tool have gone missing

Is there a way to reset the tool palette? Something strange seems to have happened where the tool set I can see is really limited and doesn't have the shape drawing tool (cirlces, squares, etc)

 

Tried deleting prefs and that didn't do it. Screenshot of my weird tool palette: Screen Shot 2012-12-09 at 12.50.47 AM.png

    You can try if a restart and resetting preferences could solve that, but it might be possible you need to re-install Illustrator.

     

    Do you have any additional plugins? If so, perhaps uninstall them and try again.

    Reinstalled and that fixed it. What a strange issue! No idea what caused

    it.
