change the buttons in Mobile Starter.....

so...i started a mobile app with the "page from sample" > "mobile starter" > "jquery mobile local".... i have gotten far now im at a point with the buttons....

when u first start making the app all the button look like this NO MATTER WHAT.....

EVEN THOUGH... the code really make the button look like this (how i want it)......

as u can see in PIC2 .... it deletes the background and also ALL the pages are gone and theres just one REALLY long app..... to get it to look like PIC2 i deleted the 2nd "red script line" from the top of my coding (the 2nd "red script" line.... ) can anyone help????  or know what to do?

    Fundamentally wrong. You're not supposed to delete the code that you did. That is what provides support for jQuery mobile.

     

    Instead, put up your files on the web and give us a link.

     

    To edit any visual elements, you need to edit the .css file, not .js.

    i was only tinkering around... i know not to delete that....

    im only a novice trying to build a mock up of what i want, b4 i take it to someone to build...

    i have tried the css style thing with the button and not matter what, the buttons always are that "iphone style"(pic1) and not the image (pic2)

    Can you upload this to your server and give us a link so it is easier for us to check. Without that or even seeing the code, there's nothing much we can only guess!
